The Committee is undertaking post-legislative scrutiny on the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003.

At its meeting on the 20 April 2010 the Committee considered a summary of the evidence received on its scrutiny of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003 and agreed to publish a report and to seek Parliamentary time for a debate.

At its meeting on 15 June 2010 the Committee agreed its draft report.

The 4th report 2010 (Session 3) Report on post-legislative scrutiny: the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003 was published on 24 June 2010.
