Book tickets for the Debating Chamber
It is possible to turn up on the day to see if tickets are available, but to avoid disappointment it is advisable to book in advance using the steps below:
- Are you interested in watching First Minister’s Question Time? Please visit the page on Booking a ticket for First Minister's Question Time.
- Decide which day you would like to visit. Parliament is in session on Wednesday afternoons and all day Thursday. The agenda of what is being discussed in the Chamber is published one week before and can be found in the Business Bulletin.
- Decide what time you would like to visit. All tickets are booked by time slot. The time slots are:

| You do not have to stay in the Chamber for the duration of the time slot. Visitors can leave the Chamber when they wish; as long as they do so quietly. |
- Decide how many tickets you wish to book. Tickets for 1 to 9 people can be booked up to 7 days in advance of the meeting. Group visits for 10 to 15 people can be arranged further in advance. Please consult the booking periods for Group tickets.
- Book tickets by contacting Visitor Services. Please let us know whether you have any access requirements when you make your booking.
- Make yourself aware of the code of conduct. If you are visiting the Parliament to watch proceedings in the Chamber there is a code of conduct which you need to follow, by order of The Presiding Officer.

- Decide which day you would like to visit. Committees are normally held on Tuesday mornings, Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings. The agenda for Committee meetings is published one week before and can be found in the Business Bulletin.
- Decide how many tickets you wish to book. Tickets for 1 to 9 people can be booked up to 7 days in advance of the meeting. Group visits for 10 to 15 people can be arranged further in advance. Please consult the booking periods for Group tickets.
